Jose Ahonen takes audiences on a journey into the world of mentalism and mind control, bewildering and entertaining them. A master of interpreting people and psychological magic, he charmingly deceives, suggests, and reads minds. The audience gasps in astonishment and even questions their own senses. Thunderous applause often follows, with standing ovations not uncommon.
Jose Ahonen regularly performs both in Finland and abroad, and in 2024, he was awarded the prestigious Reijo Salminen Emeritus Trophy by the Finnish Magic Circle. Jose is a member of the Psychic Entertainers Association, which comprises approximately 250 of the world’s top professional mentalists, hypnosis artists, and other psychic entertainers. The solo performance „Beyond Natural,“ which began in 2023, has already toured in over ten cities across Finland, with theater halls nearly sold out in every location.
The skilled mentalist, also adept with his pen, has authored non-fiction books such as „Yli luonnollisen“ (Beyond naturall) published by Atena/Otava, „Ajattele kuin mentalisti“ (Think Like a Mentalist) by Atena-kustannus, and „Huijauksen Anatomia“ (The Anatomy of Deception) co-authored with Pete Poskiparta, published by Readme. Several editions of these works have been released, and they have enjoyed top positions in the rankings of audiobook services.
